Emiliano "Chubbs" Martinez leads the So Cal Nationals with a wealth of local experience and a deep commitment to the Pasadena baseball community. A proud alumnus of John Muir High School (Class of 2019), Coach Martinez was a standout multi-positional talent for the Mustangs, excelling as a third baseman, pitcher, and outfielder. Following his decorated high school career, he transitioned to the collegiate level, where he continued to refine his expertise and passion for the game. Today, he serves as a pivotal mentor in the region, balancing his roles as an Assistant Coach for the Muir Mustangs and the Head Coach for So Cal Nationals. His coaching philosophy centers on developing high-character athletes who understand the technical nuances of baseball while competing with the intensity and "team-first" mentality that defines our organization.
